Demetrius Jordan, a 32-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on May 14, 2021, in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred late at night, around 11:50 p.m., when officers heard several shots fired and saw an 18-year-old man running with a rifle in the 6200 block of West Diversey Avenue.
