Shametria Williams, a 19-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on June 15, 2021, in a mass shooting in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood. The incident occurred at a house located at the intersection of 62nd and Morgan streets. The shooting, which began as an argument, escalated into gunfire, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, including Shametria Williams.
