Deserie Flowers, a 26-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on April 27, 2019, in the East Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago, IL. She was in her vehicle in the 3800 block of West Adams Street around 2:30 a.m. when someone drove up and fired multiple shots, striking her in the chest, arm, and abdomen.
