Ayanna Bennett, a 26-year-old African American woman from Chicago, was found dead in her vehicle at the Crystal Lake Metra Station parking lot on July 25, 2021. The McHenry County Coroner's Office identified her and conducted an autopsy, which revealed that she died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
