Marquise Richardson, a 14-year-old African American boy, tragically lost his life on July 29, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois. Marquise was sitting in a parked car with a 29-year-old man in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the Far South Side when the incident occurred. Around 12:10 a.m., someone in another vehicle opened fire, striking Marquise twice in the head.
