Eric Jara, a 40-year-old man from Chicago, IL, was tragically killed on August 15, 2021. The incident occurred in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side of Chicago. Eric Jara was in a vehicle with a 19-year-old man when they were ambushed by gunfire around 1:25 a.m. in the 2700 block of South Drake Avenue.
