Jaquawn Newman, a 26-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on May 31, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Newman was in a vehicle with another man, aged 20, when they were shot at around 6:43 p.m. in the 4600 block of South Marshfield Avenue.
