Arion J. McNeary, a 22-year-old African American male from Chicago, Illinois, was tragically killed on August 17, 2021. The incident occurred while he was in his car on Harlem Avenue in Oak Park. According to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office, McNeary was shot in the arm, and the bullet subsequently traveled into his chest, leading to his death.
