Black male Charles Alexander, 22, was killed on September 9, 2021, after he was shot while seated in a parked car on Chicago's South Side.
Around 1:45 p.m., someone walked up to the vehicle in the 600 block of East 90th Place and fired into the car, striking him in the head.
He was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, and the Cook County medical examiner identified him as Charles Alexander, age 22.
