On October 23, 2021, 25-year-old Latina Female, Miriam Alejandra Jimenez Manzano was at a backyard party in Chicago's McKinley Park when a single shot shattered the night.
Police said her boyfriend's handgun accidentally discharged in the rear yard of a home in the 3700 block of South Wood Street shortly after 12:30 a.m.
The bullet struck the 25-year-old woman in the face; she was rushed to Stroger Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
