Amanda Boozer-Brown, a 34-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on March 25, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the West Pullman neighborhood, where Amanda, her husband, and their 1-year-old son were sitting in their minivan around 12:40 a.m. when a car pulled up and someone inside opened fire.
