Tonya Gunn, aged 44, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on July 7, 2014, in the Morgan Park neighborhood of Chicago. Tonya, who worked at the University of Chicago, was attending a family gathering, a celebration intended to enjoy the Fourth of July weekend, when the incident occurred.
