Tykina Ali

Black/African American female Tykina Ali, age 20, was killed on August 23, 2016, after gunfire struck the car in which she was riding in Chicago's South Lawndale/Little Village neighborhood. She was a passenger in a vehicle near the 2600 block of South Kedzie when someone in another vehicle opened fire; she was hit in the head. She was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park and pronounced dead at 6:09 p.m. that evening. Records list her residence in the 1600 block of West Ogden.
