James Hicks, a 27-year-old African American male from North Chicago, was tragically shot and killed on October 24, 2021, in Park City, Illinois. The incident occurred around noon outside an apartment complex in the 700 block of Sharon Avenue. Hicks was found unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
