Majestee Hale, a 2-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on November 4, 2021, in Harvey, Illinois. The incident occurred inside her family's home near 153rd Street and Lexington Avenue. Around 7:15 p.m., Majestee was shot in the head. Her father carried her to an ambulance, and she was rushed to Ingalls Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The community was left heartbroken by the loss of such a young life, and a vigil was held to honor her memory.
