On November 7, 2024, 26-year-old Janaesia Noble, a resident of Park Forest, Illinois, was fatally shot multiple times outside a home in the 14500 block of Kentucky Avenue in Harvey, Illinois. She was pronounced dead at 10:15 p.m. that evening at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey. The Cook County medical examiner's office ruled her death a homicide.
