Ronald Coppage Jr., an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 2, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. Ronald was walking home near 82nd Street and Drexel Avenue in the East Chatham neighborhood when he was shot. Despite his injuries, Ronald managed to call his mother, Gabrielle Henley, and inform her that he had been shot. He was subsequently taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
