Redell Curry, a 29-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on March 10, 2022, in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 7300 block of South Phillips Avenue, where Curry was found unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the authorities.
