Marquez Blaylock, a 24-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on March 27, 2022, in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 1000 block of North Springfield Avenue around 3:10 p.m. Blaylock was near the front of a house when he was struck in the abdomen by gunfire.
