Nicholas Marquina Ortiz, a 32-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically shot and killed in the early morning hours of March 31, 2022, in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 5:49 AM on the 2500 block of North Lamon Avenue. Nicholas, who was a father to a young daughter, was on his way to work when the fatal encounter took place.
