Jere Buford, a 33-year-old African American man, was tragically found shot to death on May 12, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the United Center Park neighborhood on the Near West Side. Buford was discovered inside a parked car with multiple gunshot wounds at approximately 11:40 p.m. on the 200 block of South Hoyne Avenue.
