Ahkevah Petway-Moody, a 42-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on June 16, 2022, in Chicago, IL. She was fatally shot while sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle in the Roseland neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. in the 10700 block of South State Street.
