Alexis Chavez, a 17-year-old boy from Chicago, IL, tragically lost his life on June 17, 2022. The incident occurred in the West Englewood neighborhood, where Alexis was inside a residence on the 5600 block of South Wolcott. According to reports, Alexis was handling a handgun when it discharged, striking him in the back of his right ear.
