Amad Martin, a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically found with gunshot wounds to his back and left shoulder on June 24, 2022, in the 9600 block of South Princeton Avenue, Chicago, IL. He was discovered around 11:35 p.m. and was subsequently taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead. The circumstances surrounding his death were part of a violent weekend in Chicago, which saw multiple shootings and fatalities.
