In the late afternoon of a Sunday in Aurora, Colorado, the life of 29-year-old Josias Suarez, a Hispanic male, came to a sudden and violent end. On October 23, 2016, in the Morris Heights neighborhood, Suarez was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the front yard of a home on Uvalda Street. Rushed to a nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead, leaving his family searching for answers in the midst of their grief.
