Michael "Gummy" Alon Davis Jr., a 32-year-old African American male from Peoria, Illinois, tragically lost his life on June 28, 2022. Michael was enjoying a summer barbecue with his family when an argument over money escalated into a fatal confrontation. Rev Blakes, a 43-year-old male, arrived at the gathering on a motorized bike and began arguing with Michael.
