Jennifer Medrano, a 24-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on July 1, 2022, in Chinatown, Illinois. Jennifer was caught in the crossfire during a confrontation between two men in the 2200-block of South Wentworth Avenue. The incident occurred when an argument escalated into a shootout, resulting in Jennifer being fatally shot. A 42-year-old woman was also injured in the hand, and one of the gunmen, a 38-year-old man, was critically wounded and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The ot ...
