Kenard Milsap, a 30-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on September 24, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred during a backyard gathering in the Morgan Park neighborhood, specifically in the 11800 block of South Hale Avenue. According to reports, Milsap was shot just after 2 a.m. while attending the gathering. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the authorities. The initial investigation revealed that no one was in custody immediately following the shooting.
