Death by Force

Hugh Ozburn, a policeman with the Fulton County Office of Inspector of Roads and Bridges, tragically lost his life on May 17, 1902, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was involved in a deadly confrontation while attempting to arrest a gang of criminals. The gang was wanted for assaulting a former police officer with whom they had previous altercations.
