Evelyn Reaves, a 19-year-old African American female, was tragically murdered on July 12, 1987, in Milledgeville, Georgia. Evelyn was found shot in her home along with her mother, Dorothy Hightower, and her sister, Sandra Reaves. The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m. at their residence on McKinley Street. Evelyn was discovered alive but succumbed to her injuries two days later on July 14, 1987.
