In the late hours of Memorial Day on May 30, 2016, the life of 34-year-old Tonya Renae Massey was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire at her Milledgeville, Georgia, home. A mother of two boys, Massey was preparing to watch television in her living room when her single-wide mobile home on Lee Street was riddled with bullets. She was struck and killed in the violent onslaught.
