Thomas Franklin Truitt, a 37-year-old white male, died on April 18, 2012, in Cartersville, Georgia. His death occurred during an attempted arrest by a federal task force at a home on Old Old Alabama Road. Truitt was wanted on multiple warrants, including first-degree homicide by vehicle, hit and run, driving on a suspended license, and violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act.
