Actavious Tahji Thompson, a 24-year-old African American male from Cartersville, Georgia, tragically lost his life on February 14, 2015. His body was discovered late that evening in the backyard of a residence on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Responding to a shots fired call, Cartersville police found Thompson with a gunshot wound to the left side of his head near his temple. A small black revolver was found near his body, indicating a violent and sudden end to his life.
