Carol Donn, a 17-year-old from West Palm Beach, Florida, was last seen on January 2, 1981. She left home while her mother was at work, leaving behind all of her belongings, including her purse. Carol, who also went by the nickname "Kitty," had a history of running away but typically returned within weeks, even once traveling as far as New York. Despite this pattern, after her disappearance in 1981, she was never seen or heard from again.
Carol had distinguishing features such as a rose tattoo on her left shoulder, scars on her left hip and stomach from surgeries, and a mole on her forehead. Her case has been classified as endangered missing due to the lack of contact since she left, and authorities continue to seek any information that might lead to her whereabouts.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children are still investigating her disappearance, and DNA and dental records are available to aid in identifying her if any new leads emerge.
