Sharonda Larisse Hogans James, a 40-year-old African American woman from Valdosta, GA, was tragically found shot to death on July 8, 2014. Her body was discovered near the intersection of East Moore Street and North Forrest Street by a Valdosta police officer who attempted to administer first aid. Despite these efforts, Sharonda was pronounced dead at South Georgia Medical Center due to multiple gunshot wounds.
