DaNedra Sessoms, a 17-year-old African American female, tragically lost her life on November 20, 2021, in Valdosta, Georgia. The incident occurred early in the morning at approximately 5:10 a.m., when a 911 call reported a shooting at the intersection of West Gordon Street and Lankford Drive. Upon arrival, officers found DaNedra Sessoms lying in the road with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of police officers and bystanders to provide first aid, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
