Milton Stephens Jr., a 40-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 18, 2014, in Macon, Georgia. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Milton Stephens Jr. opened his apartment door to an unknown individual at approximately 3 a.m. The assailant knocked on the door twice and announced their presence before fatally shooting Stephens Jr. The perpetrator fled the scene immediately after the shooting and has not been apprehended to date.
