Derrick Howard, a 49-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 29, 2020, in Macon, Georgia. The incident occurred at 3580 Fair Street, where Derrick Howard and another man, 60-year-old Stacey Van Battle, were involved in an altercation. During the confrontation, a third individual, identified as 23-year-old Anthony Whitehead, approached the scene and brandished a handgun.
