Demarkis Willis, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 24, 2014, in Griffin, Georgia. The incident occurred outside Ma & Pa Grocery on Meriwether Street, where Willis was found shot. He was later pronounced dead at Spalding Regional Medical Center.
