Bera Elaine Ribel, a 60-year-old woman, was found dead on January 1, 2015, in her residence on Estill Hammock Road, Tybee Island, GA. The tragic incident was discovered by neighbors who responded to a request from a family member to check on her. Upon arrival, the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police found Bera Elaine Ribel and Ramon Anthony Mooney, a 48-year-old man from Rincon, deceased in what appeared to be a murder-suicide.
