Martrell Gay, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 7, 2015, in Atlanta, Georgia. The circumstances surrounding his death were both violent and shocking. Martrell Gay was shot in the face outside the West End Food Market at 812 Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard. The incident occurred during an attempted marijuana deal that went awry.
