Isaias Tovar-Murillo, a 46-year-old Hispanic male from Gainesville, GA, tragically lost his life on March 16, 2015. Tovar-Murillo, who had been working as a taxi driver for Taxi El Palmar for 15 years, was shot and killed during an armed robbery. The incident occurred around 4:50 a.m. in the area of Barrett Road and Dorsey Peek Road near the Jackson County line.
