Quentin Cheatham, a 32-year-old Black man from Albany, Georgia, was shot on the night of June 6, 2015, in the 1500 block of Malone Drive. The scene seems to have unfolded with the kind of sudden chaos that leaves more questions than answers: Albany police responded around 9:30 p.m., and two good Samaritans reportedly tried to help get him to the hospital before he later died.
