Wali Ishmail Clanton Jr., a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 13, 2015, in Fayetteville, Georgia. Wali was a freshman at Kentucky State University, where he was studying to become a nurse practitioner and was also a member of the football team. On the night of his death, Wali was attending a pool party at a residence on Highway 279 in Fayetteville.
