An 18-year-old male, Daquan Gillett, was enjoying a day with his twin brother and friends at Kenwood Park in Fayetteville, Georgia, on May 7, 2021. The group was celebrating with a water gun fight, a scene of youthful joy that would soon turn tragic. The playful atmosphere shifted when another group of young men, led by 20-year-old Sean Allen of Jonesboro, confronted Gillett and his friends.
