On May 25, 2022, Jabrell Jerome Buggs, a 38-year-old African American male from Atlanta, was found dead in the front yard of a residence in Fayetteville, Georgia. The Fayette County Communications Center received a call at 1:52 a.m. regarding a verbal altercation in progress at a home on Forest Lake Drive, off Ga. Highway 92 South.
