Cordeldrick Laquinn Brooks, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on September 22, 2015, in Augusta, Georgia. The incident began when Samantha T. Griffin, 24 at the time, lured Brooks to her apartment at East Augusta Commons under the pretense of a meeting. Unbeknownst to Brooks, Griffin had conspired with two other individuals, Christopher Barry, 24, and Kameron Reese, 25, to rob him.
