On a Thanksgiving evening that should have been filled with warmth and family, a tragic dispute in an Atlanta-area apartment complex parking lot claimed the life of 16-year-old Andres Arias. The young man, a male high school student, was shot and killed on November 26, 2015, in what authorities described as a heart-wrenching escalation of a family argument.
That evening, a confrontation erupted between Andres's mother and his stepfather, Cristino Ramos-Santos.
