On a cold Christmas Eve in Atlanta, Georgia, the life of 42-year-old John Demonze Edwards was tragically cut short. The evening of December 24, 2022, turned from festive to fatal when gunfire erupted at a gas station in the historic Sweet Auburn neighborhood.
