Dominic Smith, a 19-year-old African American male from Lawrenceville, GA, tragically lost his life on February 11, 2016. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when a Lawrenceville police officer attempted to stop a vehicle driving erratically. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers discovered Dominic Smith in the back seat, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
